Students from the North Pole Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps hear from the 168th Wing Vehicle Maintenance team on their mission and career opportunities while taking a tour of the VM facilities during an overall tour of the 168th Wing at Eielson Air Force Base, Oct. 17, 2024. The tour began with a comprehensive briefing from the wing commander about the Wing's mission and its crucial role in supporting local and national defense efforts, including the KC-135 Statotanker 24/7 air refueling mission. Students learned about diverse career opportunities in the Air National Guard, U.S. Air Force, and civilian career paths with a part-time opportunity in the Air Guard.
