U.S. Air National Guard Staff Sgt. Devin Farnsworth, 168th Wing KC-135 boom operator, flies on board a KC-135 Stratotanker for an aerial refueling mission and an incentive flight for the 25th and 51st Fighter Squadron Maintenance Group Airmen during Red Flag Alaska 24-2, June 13, 2024. Farnsworth ensured the maintenance Airmen were able to witness aircraft refueling from the back of the KC-135 Stratotanker, a sight that deepened their understanding of the mission, fostering a stronger sense of camaraderie, allowing them to see firsthand their dedication and hard work in the air in action. The 168 WG has a unique role in delivering vital air refueling support in the Pacific and Arctic regions and plays a crucial part in every Red Flag at Eielson Air Force Base, ensuring the high operational tempo and teamwork exercise are refueled.
