The 168th Wing KC-135 pilots and boom operators take a photo with the 25th and 51st Fighter Squadron Maintenance Airmen, 355th and 25th Fighter Squadron Flight docs, and 354th Fighter Wing physical therapist, who received an incentive flight on board the 168th Wing KC-135 Stratotanker. The 168th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, took the 25th and 51st Fighters Squadron Maintenance Airmen and 25th and 355th Fighter Squadron flight docs to the skies over Alaska on a 168th Wing KC-135 Stratotanker Red Flag 24-2 aerial refueling mission and incentive ride, providing them a unique and unforgettable experience. The maintenance Airmen witnessed aircraft refueling from the back of the KC-135 Stratotanker, a sight that deepened their understanding of the mission, fostering a stronger sense of camaraderie, allowing them to see firsthand their dedication and hard work in action. The 168 WG has a unique role in delivering vital air refueling support in the Pacific and Arctic regions and plays a crucial part in every Red Flag at Eielson Air Force Base, ensuring the high operational tempo and teamwork exercise are refueled. During the iteration of Red Flag-Alaska 24-2, the 168 WG continued connecting and training with their partners and allies, including providing incentive flights to the maintainers, a physical therapist, and flight hours for the flight docs taking part in RF-Alaska.
