CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT TERESA M. RENSON

CMSgt Teresa M. Renson is the Wing Command Chief for the 168th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. She is the senior enlisted leader for the wing and is responsible for advising the wing commander on all matters concerning the discipline, health, morale, welfare, and mentorship of more than 800 Guardsmen, civilian personnel, and their families. Chief Renson is charged with the professional development, and proper utilization of the enlisted force.  She ensures the unit is trained, equipped, and ready to complete state and federal taskings.

CMSgt Renson joined the Air Force in September 1985. Upon completion of basic military training and the Jet Engine Apprentice Course at Chanute AFB, Ill., she was assigned to the 37th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, George AFB, Calif.  In June 1993, she joined the 168th Air Refueling Wing as a jet engine mechanic, a maintenance operations control center dispatcher, and a maintenance scheduler. In February 1998, Chief Renson became an aircraft dispatcher for the operations control center. In 2002 she became a member of the wing commander’s support staff, where she remained until 2007. Chief Renson was selected as the Ground Safety Manager in 2007 and remained there until December 2012 when was selected as the 168th Force Support Flight Superintendent.

Prior to her current position, CMSgt Renson was the 168th Mission Support Group Superintendent, 168th Wing, Eielson AFB, Alaska.
